Gary Linder is a paramedic with over 25 years of experience in EMS education, management and leadership. Gary has been a EMS Crew Chief, Senior FTO, EMS Training Officer, Flight Paramedic, Community Paramedic and Tactical Paramedic. He is currently a Paramedic and Tactical Medic Education Coordinator for Durham County EMS. He also served in the US Naval Reserves as a SAR Corpsman / Rescue Swimmer.

Gary is the AHA National Faculty for ACLS in North Carolina as well as an AHA Regional Faculty in ACLS, BLS and PALS. He also holds multiple instructor certifications and is a past graduate of UMBC and University of Iowa Critical Care Paramedic Programs. He is also a North Carolina EMS level-1 Paramedic Instructor. Gary has been published in Professional EMS Journals including The Journal of Emergency Medical Services & EMS World and has been a guest speaker at the UNC May Day Conference, JEMS and others. Gary previously worked at MEDIC (the Carolina’s busiest EMS agency in Charlotte), Greenville (SC) EMS, First Health EMS / CCT, UNC Air Care and Wake County EMS.

Gary is married, has Jack Russell Terriers, plays the drums and teaches Tae Kwon Do.
